GIVING TUESDAY

Preservation makes a difference for our communities, our youth and our families.  When you donate today, you are supporting a great cause that:

Treasures our Community Landmarks.  Established in 1949 by Dr. Aristotle Chatman & Supporters to design and construct an entertainment and business facility that has and continues to symbolize the Heritage and Unity of the Community. Together with Donors, Sponsors, State and City Leaders, we purchased The Lincoln Theater with a purpose to save it for future generations.

Strengthens Our Communities.

The Vision—to renovate The Lincoln Theater to serve as a Cultural Center and Educational Muesum that will help (1) support Small Businesses in the communities, (2) promote the Arts & Entertainment Industry and partnerships in Education & History; (3) enables the facility to be a Performing Arts Center for the community, city and state; and (4) be the home of The Louisiana Black History Hall of Fame.

Proceeds of the campaign will assist with facility operations, maintenance and requirements such as the following: ENTERGY, utilities, water, insurances, security system fees, etc.
